Hump Day Kick Start for your muse, a writing picture prompt, or just a visual treat.
Theo seemed to be a favorite among MuseTrackers, so I brought him back.
Tell me about him. Who is he? Is he a hero or a villain? Is he a vampire? An apocalyptic warrior? A surfer? A drummer for a grungy alternative band? What is he thinking? Is he plotting or is he seducing?
Do you care? Are you still staring?
I’d also like to hear what from you on what types of Hump Day Kick Start photos you’d like to see. Please take a quick moment to cast your vote. Thanks!

Song of the Day: Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash
Whew! I have to admit, this photo speaks to me. It screams sex appeal!
But what does it say to you?
Our setting appears to be a diner. It’s up to you if it is present day or if this is the Oldies but Goodies. Who is our smoldering hunk? Rat Pack-ish entertainer? Joaquin Phoenix? Drifter? Plotter of evil? What or who is he looking at? The menu? Another waitress? The hit he’s tailing? Do you think this is his way of asking for another cup of Joe?
Good Golly Molly! I’m dying to know your take. Let me hear from you.

Song of the day: Country Song by Seether
It’s rodeo time where I live. Three weeks of cowboys, livestock, concerts, carnival rides, barbeque, lingering smells of manure, and good ole boy fun. So in honor of bronc bustin’ and cattle ropin’, here is a picture to kick start your jean-clad butt.
Tell me about our cowboy. Who is he? Star bull rider? A performer for a sing-a-gram service? Where is he? A carnie operator’s trailer? Is he tuckered out from bull riding? Did he drink too much Lone Star beer? Why is he still wearing spurs?
Climb in the saddle and rustle up a tale. I’d love to hear from you.
Something’s burning in the kitchen! Today’s prompt is smokin’ hot!
Tell me about this couple. Who are they? Cooking instructor and her student? Refrigerator repair man? Are they cops on a stakeout who became hungry. Is he a new neighbor borrowing a cup of sugar? (Sugar. *snicker* Get it? Damn, if I ain’t clever!) Maybe he’s trying to woo a family secret recipe from her so he can win the county fair pie contest.
Song of the Day: Heart in my Hands by Trust Company
Seems today’s writing prompt features chains. And who doesn’t like chains? Don’t ya just love the light and shadows?
What genre would you place him in? Paranormal? Romantic Suspense? Erotica? Thriller? Spicy contemporary?
Who is he? A shape shifter? Demon? Kidnapper? Motorcycle builder? Man of steel? Prisoner?
Who or what is he directing his heated stare and what is he thinking/scheming?
Why does he have a chain around his neck? To ensnare and subdue a sexy demon? Rough and tumble with the leader of a rival gang? Maybe he has a wild beast collared at the other end of the chain.
Something tells me a few mouths just dropped open.
All right, kiddies. Tell me about this one. Who is he? He’s wet, and he’s obviously hot. You know…because of the steam. Rivulets of water are still streaming down his body. What was he doing to get all soaked and vaporous?
What genre would you write him in? Is he a paranormal demon hunter? How about a romantic suspense homicide detective or Navy Seal? Sci-fi, thirller, time-travel? Maybe he’s bad, bad boy. Did you notice the pretty impressive tat on his arm?
It has come to my attention while picking out today’s prompt that I have far too many pictures that are far too steamy to post. Ah well.
So, what do we have here? Pretty spicy stuff, wouldn’t you say?
Who are they? What’s their story? Vampire about to change his victim? Bad boy tantalizing girl next door? Is he teaching her the art of seduction? Look at the way he’s gazing at her. See how she’s holding his arm. There’s definitely an attraction here. And it seems a bit on the dark side.
What do you think about today’s prompt. Who is he? What’s his story? Is he a good guy, or a bad guy, and WHY? Boy, that’s a lot of rope. What do you think he’ll do with it? Oh, the possibilities.
Today, I was going to post a blog about the Lone Star Conference held over the weekend. But unfortunately, an unforseen circumstance prevented me from drafting up a post. No worries, all is fine. Sometime life happens, and it’s simply more important than blogging. *gasp*
But because I’m a pretty awesome chick, I’ve provided you with another installment of Hump Day Kick Start.
So, who do we have here? Pirate hat, dog tag, way too modern jeans, goin’ commando, tats, sudden urge to do laundry, these are tasty, er, wonderful visual treats for your muse. Tell me about him. Who is he and what’s on his mind.
Oh no! What happened to our boy? Who is he? Where is he? Why does he have a bed roll? And what happened to his shirt?
Use your wild imaginations. Is he Coast Guard hunting drug runners? A man on the run from the law. Or a vigilante hiding out? Environmentalist shooting film of the migrating whales? Lost boy scout?
I’d love to hear your take on today’s photo prompt.
