Hump Day Kick Start – for your muse, a writing picture prompt, or just a visual treat.

Say cheese!

I’ve got all sorts of ideas in my head with this picture prompt. Who is our couple? Model and photographer?  Young lovers making their own movie? Maybe he’s just checking his Facebook status before getting busy.

Or could the scene be something more sinister? A jaded lover seeking revenge by videoing a cheater? Or maybe he is the one doing the cheating? Are they staging a kidnapping/blackmailing crime?

Could he be taking a picture for prosperity, so he will have proof when his buddies claim he’s lying about seducing the librarian/cocktail waitress/ college teacher/boss’s daughter/etc.

Wait…could someone be hiding in the closet?

Check out the details: her knowing (almost) smile, his hand on her knee, his focus that doesn’t seem too passionate. What do you make of it?

You know I want to hear your take on this prompt.

The girl is cute … thanks for that part.
    Here’s their story:
Lovely Janine was rather excited to get Waldo into her bedroom finally, since she had scrutinized his sculptured body at the pool in the apartment complex where they both live.
Waldo, rather incredibly, had seemed a bit cool to her expressions of interest, however. Over time, after repeated efforts to close the distance between them, Janine concluded Waldo was just shy.
But, once he saw her in this black chemise, Waldo’s shyness gave way to his raw lust and he was ready.
As Janine had been for quite some while.
Problem is — Waldo didn’t know exactly what to do. He knew the general “approach” — shall we say — and had a notion of his destination. But the positioning completely threw him.
Yes, folks, Waldo was a virgin.
He had been lost once before, in a busy city at night, and he’d used Siri to get directions home.
So, at this tender moment — and much to Janine’s chagrin — Waldo once again turned to that soothing voice on his 4G phone … to guide him through his “approach”.
As Janine was looking away in bored disappointment, she heard over Waldo’s phone connection, “Spread her limbs … liberate your Johnson … put down the @#$% phone … recalibrating …”

Okay, Jeff. I’ll forgive your serious lack of delivering a masculine name for the male in this prompt. Only because you made tears of laughter spring forth. LOL! Awesome job!

  7. jeff7salter says:

    LOL. What’s wrong with “Waldo”?

  8. jbrayweber says:

    You are just baiting me.
BTW – have you seen Waldo? HA!

  9. jeff7salter says:

Nah. I would never bait a pirate lady …

  10. jbrayweber says:

    Hmmm… I *want* to believe you. 😉

  11. jeff7salter says:

aw, you know me — just a teeny bit jealous of all these muscle guys because the girls flock to them in droves

  12. jbrayweber says:

  13. jeff7salter says:

  14. jbrayweber says:

Right? I’m still waiting, too? Her puppies must have dragged her off again.
