Hump Day Kick Start – Soaking Tub Edition

Hump Day Kick Start – for your muse, a writing picture prompt, or just a visual treat.

Who needs a soak?

Tell me about today’s writing prompt. Who is he? What is on his mind? Is he recuperating from a battle with zombies/demons/enemy soldiers? Could he be preparing to go into battle instead? Did he have a rough go at the prosecuting attorney against his client he knows damn well is guilty? What is the role of the woman in the tub with him? Lover? Selkie? Specialized masseuse? What if he is at that moment where he is giving in to the woman, his nemesis/rival/roommate, he has desperately avoided, knowing she will be the death of him? Is the beauty in the tub, named Calgon, taking him away?

Tell a tale or simply caption the photo. I’d love to hear from you.

“Gee,” Mike thought. “It sure is nice of her to take the tap side of the tub.”

Haha! What an eye for detail, Janey. Hmmm… She would also have control over the water and temperature.

Ralph was at first surprised when Inga — carrying candles and wearing nothing besides a smile — led him in to the bathroom and locked the door.
Then she slipped into the tub.
Even Ralph was bright enough to realize he was invited for a dip, so he stripped down and slid in.
It was not long before they both saw a disturbance in the water between them.
    “Up periscope” said Ralph quietly.

*eye roll* So juvenile, yet so, so funny. Thanks for this, Jeff.

  5. jeff7salter says:

hey, it’s the best I could do on such a cold, snowy day

  6. jbrayweber says:

Ya done good, my friend. Ya done good.
