Hump Day Kick Start – Intensity Edition

Hump Day Kick Start – for your muse, a writing picture prompt, or just a visual treat.

Now isn’t this an interesting treat? I am in love with his expression. There is so much emotion in his drawn brow.

Tell me about today’s prompt. Who are they and what is going on? Is he begging her to stay? Or instead, begging her for understanding why he must go? Is she imparting a profound secret? Horrific news? Could he be giving in to his desires for her, knowing she could never be his?

What do you think? Or caption the pic.

  1. Yes, intense desire to have hear, but the realization, he can never
    have her.

It’s a pretty great expression, isn’t it? So full of emotion.

It’s been a while since I posted, but it seems that Helena is back.

Helena held his destiny in her hands. Hand that could easily snap his neck, end his life. However, she didn’t have the time or the inclination to kill him today. He‘d betrayed her. Death was a natural consequence of his actions, but she would wait, she would temper her reactions this time.
Patience had never been one of her virtues; in fact, she had damn few virtues, unless you counted her proclivity to rid the world of bottom feeders. How had the man before her been tempted? Drugs? Money? Women? What? Didn’t’ matter, his fate had been sealed, unless—yes, unless she could use him.
She caressed his cheek, looked deep into his pleading eyes. Eyes that had once enraptured her, eyes that had promised her, eyes that now lied. Was he plotting her demise behind the façade of hurt and sorrow?
Helena brushed aside emotions that threatened her resolve. Her rules were clear. He would die, but not tonight.

A day late, but here is Kendra’s story:
She’d already sent him away twice, because she was exhausted and needed some rest.
    But he came back again!
“Louie,” she said with a heavy sigh, “what are you doing? I’ve already told you… NO.”
“But, Kendra,” he whined, “I really NEED it.”
“Sorry. It’s too late, and I’m too tired. Besides I already told you what you need to do first. And it won’t do any good to get on your knees and beg.”
“No. You’ll just have to take care of this yourself.”
“But I need you to do it, Kendra.”
“Sorry. Just lay it out and rub back and forth. It’ll work out okay.”
    “But you do it better!”
“Enough! I am NOT going to iron your shirt tonight. Just lay it on the board, wait for the iron to heat up and rub it back and forth. Period!”
