Hump Day Kick Start – Balcony Edition

Hump Day Kick Start – for your muse, a writing picture prompt, or just a visual treat.

Today’s prompt. What do you suppose she is contemplating? The mistake she left in the bed? Longing for the one she loves who lives on another continent? What lengths will she go to in achieving her dreams, completing her assigned missions, or clearing of her debts? The meaning of life? When the high-end clothing store opens?

What’s your take? Tell me a tale or caption the pic. I’d love to hear from you.

“Leena, you are smoking!” said Victor as he emerged on the landing and saw his dusky-skinned lover… nude, except for white towel.
Without even turning her head, Leena continued to gaze across the street. She knew there were some grad school guys sharing an apartment across that avenue… and they’d long ago focused their telescope on the rooms shared by Leena and Victor.
“I said, you’re smoking,” repeated Victor.
A bit too vain about her body and all the attention it garnered, Leena just smiled… barely enough to notice (if you were checking out her other attributes).
    “No reply?” he asked.
She shrugged. “I figure if you’ve got it, just flaunt it. As long as my body is smoking, I’ll show it off.”
“Uh, Leena, I think you misunderstood me,” he said. “I meant, you promised me you wouldn’t smoke in our apartment again.”

ciggie smoke used not to bother me too much. Nowadays, it totally reeks.
