MuseTracks Link of the Day

Today’s link hooks you up to an online book club, iBookBuzz.

iBookBuzz  is exclusively for romance writers and readers and monthly selections are picked by the book club members.

What’s great about this book club is it offers writer’s a chance to promote themselves among readers, especially if the author’s novel is available digitally. Each month offers a different genre. Four options are randomly chosen from those submitted to the club and a poll is conducted. This is a great promotional tool for authors, plus the author gets the benefit of interacting with readers and being a part on the book discussion. Pretty darn cool.

Now comes the shameless promotion.

This month, my novel Blood and Treasure is up for the historical book of the month. Not only would I love for you to check out iBookBuzz’s site, but take a moment to join and vote.  Should you decide to vote, please vote based on the selection you like most. However, I’d greatly appreciate your support.

Good Afternoon Muse Trackers!

I was going through my “to do” list for today and I skipped right over the Link of The Day. Flog me, beat me! I set my cup of tea down on my list this morning and somehow the top bit got smeared.

Big sigh.

Huge sigh.

They need to make medication for folks like me! Anyway, this is the link and I hope you take a peek at it because you WILL learn something!

This site has some really interesting and amazing advice on self/Indie publishing. It’s brimming with information on every topic from fonts, book jackets, art, editing etc. I’ve learned quite a bit over there and I’m happy to share it with all of you!

This picture is just so I can ask "Why?" So much pain.......

Good Morning Muse Trackers!!!!!

Here at “Link of the Day”, we want to share new and cool places to visit if you are a writer or are interested in what writers do with their time. This week I came across a surprising location for support! I may be behind the times, but I had no idea that Linked In also provided different types of professional support groups.

I joined a few of them and have been very pleased by what I’ve seen so far. I suppose the first thing I need to do is to share with you what Linked In is, if you don’t already know. It’s a professional networking site designed to connect folks that have related jobs or are looking to market their product. It is a wonderful spot for authors, editors, agents, readers etc. etc. etc. trying to make various connections.

The groups I’ve joined so far:

Authors, Writers, Publishers, Editors and Writing Professionals

Fiction Writers Guild

American Romance Writers

LinkEds and Writers

Hope you enjoy our “Link of the Day”!!
