Hump Day Kick Start – Corner Edition

Hump Day Kick Start – for your muse, a writing picture prompt, or just a visual treat.

paul-and-keri

I love everything about this prompt.

Tell me about these two. Aside from real life, who are they? Assassins? Body guards? Expert jewelry thieves? Fashion police? What is going on here? Notice the way they are looking at each other. Has she trapped him with a seductive challenge? Could he be angry at her for showing up at the party, causing a stir, during his stakeout? Has he called it quits and she’s having none of it? Is she showing him a rip in her stocking? Not letting him pass until he says the secret password?

What’s your take? Tell me a tale or caption the pic.

“There are three things you need to understand, Renauldo,” said Crystal evenly.
“Okay, shoot.” Then he cleared his throat. “I mean, proceed with your explanation.”
“One — you’re the one who got us into this bizarre corner.”
He nodded… no point in denying it.
    “Two — I’m VERY limber.”
    Renauldo nodded again. Clearly indisputable.
“Three — this loaded .45 is cocked and locked… and if your left hand moves one inch toward me… you’ll feel the impact before you hear the blast.”

Haha! I’m interested to know what he did to get them in the corner.

he said, “what have you got underneath that coat?”
